BCCI gets richer

McLaren supports Kovalainen
McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen is dissapointed losing to Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel in last weekend's Italian Grand Prix inspite of starting on the front row. But McLaren chief executive Martin Whitmarsh has said that there is nothing to worry about and the fact is that Kovalainen had not made a mistake throughout the week and was performing outstandingly in the dry and wet conditions."He struggled a little with visibility in the early stages of the race and had a few difficulties with his tyres and brake temperatures, but we are not disappointed with his result"-said the Mclaren chief.Kovalainen ,after starting as a rookie for renault had improved a lot coming into McLaren. He won the last month's Hungarian Grand Prix.Heikki Kovalainen is now in 6th place in the individual standings with 51 points and his team mate Lewis Hamilton leads the table with 78 points."I didn't have enough grip to go any faster, it was as simple as that.
